Impact Wrestling hosted their Slammiversary XVI card tonight (July 22) from the Rebel Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The main event for the night was world champion Austin Aries defending his title against Moose. It was a match that saw Aries try to use his quickness, cunning, (and some cheating) to overcome the raw size and power of Moose.
The match moved a mile a minute and never stopped to take a break.
At one point, Moose tossed Aries into the crowd.

Aries responded with a brainbuster on the floor.

At the end, Aries tried to use the championship but the special guest holding the belt, Toronto Blue Jay’s baseball player Curtis Granderson, took it back from him. (Good on you, Grandy!)
Moose tried for a rollup off the chaos but Aries kicked out and immediately booted Moose in the head. He then hit the brainbuster for the 1-2-3.
